Hey, feel free to check out our last blog post as well!
Gaslamp Long Beach prequel
Looking back, the band has had an epic fall lineup and cruising up and down the West Coast. Importantly, Yachty by Nature sailed up to the Sacramento Delta for a Labor Day Party at Delta Coves on 9/5. What a crew in Bethel Island. We played at the Island Camp and the boats sidled up to the island to rock the yacht with us. What a glorious day of smooth yacht rock.
Next up, we brought the smooth to Huntington Beach at our home court at Sea Legs right on the sand. In fact, what a beach party! Always fun, Sea Legs went off and the band especially enjoyed our 2nd Sea Legs show this year. Additionally, that chorus of You’re So Vain with the crowd singing along and the orange sun-streaked panorama of our audience was incredibly memorable. Lastly, it was a September 11 to remember and a fantastic concert.
Bakersfield or Bust!
Private party in Huntington Harbor in September was Yachty as heck and awesome to again play on the water. In addition, we began October with a jaunt to Bakersfield for the very first time. Importantly, we had a blast playing with the No Doubt tribute band, No Duh. As well, we really enjoyed the bands Kali Sol, the Hitmen, and the Aviators. Great guys all around and a really fun venue at the historic Ice House.
October 16, we played for St. Edwards private school in Dana Point for their Flashback Fiesta. What an amazing evening with this crew. Super fun stage set up and a whole host of new tunes and the weather was absolutely brilliant for the yacht rock party. Let’s channel this weather for our November 20 gig in Long Beach for sure.
Paso Robles loves Yacht Rock!
Next up, the band hopped in our land yachts and traversed the state for a show in Paso Robles. Lemme tell ya, that town rocks! Again, a maiden voyage to the Central Coast and we had no idea what a phenomenal reception we had in store at the Cal Coast Beer Co. Our new friends in Paso Robles celebrated yacht rock with the best of them at a really fun venue at Cal Coast. The town was abuzz and we reveled with a crowd of 250 and by the time we rocked out to Michael McDonald’s What a Fool Believes, the yacht party was full tilt. We can’t wait to come back for another concert so stay tuned Paso Robles, we love you! More wine tasting for Yachty by Nature 🙂
San Juan Capistrano
Halloween was on our radar for quite some time. In fact, this might have been the cherry on top of this yacht rock sundae for the fall of 2021. Coming out of many Covid 19 cancellations, we are counting our blessings and looking forward to more normalized yacht concerts. We planned our Paddy’s Station concert for quite some time and really love the crew down here in San Juan Capistrano. Thank you to the big crowd on hand at Paddy’s and all the amazing Halloween costumes on hand that night. Yachty by Nature was truly on fire last week for an epic time. In fact, our superfans had even dressed up as the band and really nailed it. We had to double-take all night to see which Big Wave Dave was the real one!!!
Long Beach prepare for FULL YACHTY
With a host of new songs and amazing fall concerts this year, Yachty by Nature can’t wait to hit the stage at Gaslamp Long Beach on 11/20. It’s been one smooth ride and our fans, new and old alike, have been really enjoying the band being on fire. It’s been a crazy year and so fulfilling to see so many fans truly soaking up the smooth with us. We’re always adding new songs and looking to see what our audience wants for new songs. As always, fire away with your requests at us on social media, emails, and comments. Keep the fire with us and know that the band is working hard always on updating the show and tunes ongoing. In fact, we love and appreciate your long-standing support and can’t wait to see you at our next show. Get those dinner reservations for Gaslamp Long Beach in before your good seat is in jeopardy.
All the best and stay yachty! Yachty by Nature continues to be the longest-running and most prolific yacht rock band in the state. Playing from coast to coast and doing it all LIVE is no small feat but we proudly and passionately play your soft rock tunes without using backing tracks. Importantly, the band has been rocking the yacht since 2016 and the very first yacht rock band in Orange County. Thanks for still making us #1 out there. Come sail away with us!
