House of Blues April 2!

Ahoy, House of Blues Anaheim is calling and Yachty by Nature plays the big stage on April 2.  house of blues anaheim power serge yachty by nature yacht rock party concert live show captains ticketFurthermore, Yachty was the first yacht rock band to play at House of Blues Anaheim!  Uniquely, we rocked the Foundation Room a few times back in 2017.  Breaking the doors down like we do, this was yet another in a long line of firsts for the band.  For example, first yacht rock band in Orange County and first to play nationwide.  Likewise, the smooth pleasure cruise continues in the House of Blues’ 2,000 seat venue with 80’s glam metal band, Power Serge.

Importantly, the yacht rock party starts at 7pm.  Yachty by Nature will take the stage and then the night will finish wiht a super entertaining set by Power Serge.  These guys are epic!  Don’t miss the boat on this one-of-a-kind yacht concert.  In fact, click the ticket link to drop anchor with us!

NEWSFLASH!!!  House of Blues April 2 is not requiring vaccination status/testing for attendance any longer!  Importantly, it’s so encouraging to get back to Live concerts.  So, here we go, don’t miss the boat.

Yacht Rock Party

With so many great live venues coming up, House of Blues will be our crowning jewel of a show.  In addition, we’re adding fun stuff all the time.  Moreover, mark that calendar and chart a course for adventure.  The band travels to Northern California a couple times this summer, Paso Robles in August and even Jacksonville, FL in July.  Importantly, we’ll have a Catalina Wine Mixer of a time in Catalina on May 29!  As always, we’ll have a select few concerts in the park to look forward to.  However, let’s look to the immediate future on some truly remarkable destinations:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT

House of Blues will be another huge concert for us!  However, it goes without saying that this has been an incredible 6 year ride for Southern California’s #1 yacht rock band.  We couldn’t do it without you.  In fact, with Covid 19 wreaking havoc and postponing our shows at great venues like Pala Casino and Catalina Island and shows coast to coast.  As we get beyond this, it has been YOU, our fans that keep Yacht Rock and our smooth shows rockin.  Additionally, these have been crazy times.  Thus, stay tuned for our shows to resume in Las Vegas and Arizona particularly where we haven’t been back in quite some time.  We really appreciate your patience!  Moreover, in the words of Bartles and Jaymes, thank you for your support.

House of Blues… what to wear!

When in doubt on your yacht rock attire, make sure and read Captain Carl’s manifesto on yacht rock outfits!  In addition, we always encourage our crowd to dress to impress and feel that yachty vibe completely.  In fact, there’s nothing quite like looking out on our audience and seeing the 70’s, country club, and yacht club mojo working overtime.  Above all, check our instagram feed for examples of all the fun that our concerts inspire.  Whether it’s stripes, captain’s hats, bell bottoms, 80’s, 70’s, or a night out on the marina or golf club, you can’t go wrong.  In fact, get creative, feel good, and go for it.  Catalina Wine Mixer just like Lionel Richie…All Night Long!

Can’t wait to get yachty with you and make sure to join us on Bandsintown for up-to-the-minute concerts.  Lots of fun shows coming up.

Yacht Rock 2022

Yacht Rock 2022 here we come!

Happy New Year to one nation under the SMOOTH.  It’s hard to imagine that COVID-19 is still wreaking havoc on live music.  However, it’s a new year and Yachty by Nature is looking forward to some great shows coming up.  The band is only bigger, better, stronger, and YACHTIER.  So, cheers to an epic Yacht Rock 2022 ahead.

Captain Carl and Admiral Jackson cheers!

Unfortunately, our show at San Diego Yacht Club for New Year’s Eve was cancelled but we’ll be back this year.  Yachty by Nature managed to play a few last shows in 2021 and put the year to beddy bye.  Somehow we didn’t jump overboard this year and still dropped anchor at Gaslamp Long Beach in November!  Moreover, in December we managed a couple fun shows at Country Club Costa Mesa and for our buddy Jarrod at Rush Bar for their company party.

In fact, the show at Country Club in Costa Mesa stands out as a beautiful last hurrah before the holidays.  Importantly, we hope you enjoyed that video above of the Saxiest Man Alive jamming out to a capacity crowd.  And, we had Kelly Dodd and her husband Rick in attendance from the Real Housewives of Orange County and they LOVED getting yachty with us for Yacht Rock 2022!

Yacht Rock returns to Stillwater!

Amazingly, last week, we fought through the sea of Omicron out there and managed a really fun show at Stillwater in Dana Point.  Importantly, that’s the spot we opened the door to yacht rock in Orange County.  Back in 2016, we were the first yacht rock band in the OC.  Additionally, we were the only one in Southern California to travel across the country playing smooth music.  It’s been a couple years since we played these friendly confines and it was so fun to be back.  Ben Shreddin’ happened to be out, and we were lucky enough to have Orange County shredder, Matt Hocking from the Creepers sit in on guitar.

Oh what a night!  Stay tuned South Orange County, we’ll have more to celebrate soon.  Lots of cool shows for the spring and summer.  And, Vegas and Arizona we haven’t forgotten about you!  We are always working to get back out there and get yachty!!!

Speaking of which, our next scheduled public shows are few and far between so mark that calendar :).  We don’t have a public concert in February so far, so make sure and get out to Biergarten on January 29.  Ticket link is on the Bandsintown app and Facebook event, but here’s another shot at it.  Biergarten 1/29/22.  And, here’s a look at Yacht Rock 2022 at current.

Yachty by Nature next shows:

1/29 Biergarten, Huntington Beach, CA

2/11 private party, Redondo Beach, CA

2/19 private wedding Phoenix, AZ

3/5 Tiki Bar, Costa Mesa, CA

4/1 Campus Jax, Newport Beach, CA

4/23 Sea Legs, Huntington Beach, CA

5/13 Hangar 24, Irvine, CA

5/14 private party, Beverly Hills, CA

5/22 private wedding, Napa Valley, CA

6/3 Community Event, Pleasanton, CA

6/11 Gaslamp, Long Beach, CA

6/19 Summerfest, Fountain Valley, CA

8/6 Cal Coast Beer, Paso Robles, CA

9/4 Delta Coves, Sacramento River Delta, CA

Plenty of public shows upcoming and thanks for all the love and support.  Can’t wait to see you out there and get through this rough couple years.  We need the smooth music of yacht rock 2022 now more than ever.  Additionally, we can’t wait to see your smiling faces out at the yacht rock concert soon!  As always, we have some great new song choices to play for you and recommend you telling us your requests as well.  The band has been playing some fun but low key shows as we can and then rehearsing some pretty kickass tunes.  We guarantee that you’ll love some deep cuts, more Little River Band, and fun times ahead!

Anchors Aweigh, Captain Carl

Long Beach gets Yachty!

Long Beach gets Yachty November 20

Ahoy Long Beach, we are coming for you for a pre-Thanksgiving yacht rock party at Gaslamp on 11/20.  In fact, this marks our maiden voyage to the Gaslamp.  Moreover, we look forward to seeing everyone at this kick ass venue that seats up to 650.  Plenty of room to dance, dine, and otherwise get yachty!  So, get your tickets and dinner reservations for an amazing night with Yachty by Nature.  This smooth pleasure cruise will embark at 8pm but the doors will open at 6pm.  Hey, feel free to check out our last blog post as well!

Gaslamp Long Beach prequel

Looking back, the band has had an epic fall lineup and cruising up and down the West Coast.  Importantly, Yachty by Nature sailed up to the Sacramento Delta for a Labor Day Party at Delta Coves on 9/5.  What a crew in Bethel Island.  We played at the Island Camp and the boats sidled up to the island to rock the yacht with us.  What a glorious day of smooth yacht rock.

Next up, we brought the smooth to Huntington Beach at our home court at Sea Legs right on the sand.  In fact, what a beach party!  Always fun, Sea Legs went off and the band especially enjoyed our 2nd Sea Legs show this year.  Additionally, that chorus of You’re So Vain with the crowd singing along and the orange sun-streaked panorama of our audience was incredibly memorable.  Lastly, it was a September 11 to remember and a fantastic concert.

Bakersfield or Bust!

Private party in Huntington Harbor in September was Yachty as heck and awesome to again play on the water.  In addition, we began October with a jaunt to Bakersfield for the very first time.  Importantly, we had a blast playing with the No Doubt tribute band, No Duh.  As well, we really enjoyed the bands Kali Sol, the Hitmen, and the Aviators.  Great guys all around and a really fun venue at the historic Ice House.

October 16, we played for St. Edwards private school in Dana Point for their Flashback Fiesta.  What an amazing evening with this crew.  Super fun stage set up and a whole host of new tunes and the weather was absolutely brilliant for the yacht rock party.  Let’s channel this weather for our November 20 gig in Long Beach for sure.

Paso Robles loves Yacht Rock!

Next up, the band hopped in our land yachts and traversed the state for a show in Paso Robles.  Lemme tell ya, that town rocks!  Again, a maiden voyage to the Central Coast and we had no idea what a phenomenal reception we had in store at the Cal Coast Beer Co.  Our new friends in Paso Robles celebrated yacht rock with the best of them at a really fun venue at Cal Coast.  The town was abuzz and we reveled with a crowd of 250 and by the time we rocked out to Michael McDonald’s What a Fool Believes, the yacht party was full tilt.  We can’t wait to come back for another concert so stay tuned Paso Robles, we love you!  More wine tasting for Yachty by Nature 🙂

San Juan Capistrano

Halloween was on our radar for quite some time.  In fact, this might have been the cherry on top of this yacht rock sundae for the fall of 2021.  Coming out of many Covid 19 cancellations, we are counting our blessings and looking forward to more normalized yacht concerts.  We planned our Paddy’s Station concert for quite some time and really love the crew down here in San Juan Capistrano.  Thank you to the big crowd on hand at Paddy’s and all the amazing Halloween costumes on hand that night.  Yachty by Nature was truly on fire last week for an epic time.  In fact, our superfans had even dressed up as the band and really nailed it.  We had to double-take all night to see which Big Wave Dave was the real one!!!

Long Beach prepare for FULL YACHTY

With a host of new songs and amazing fall concerts this year, Yachty by Nature can’t wait to hit the stage at Gaslamp Long Beach on 11/20.  It’s been one smooth ride and our fans, new and old alike, have been really enjoying the band being on fire.  It’s been a crazy year and so fulfilling to see so many fans truly soaking up the smooth with us.  We’re always adding new songs and looking to see what our audience wants for new songs.  As always, fire away with your requests at us on social media, emails, and comments.  Keep the fire with us and know that the band is working hard always on updating the show and tunes ongoing.  In fact, we love and appreciate your long-standing support and can’t wait to see you at our next show.  Get those dinner reservations for Gaslamp Long Beach in before your good seat is in jeopardy.

All the best and stay yachty!  Yachty by Nature continues to be the longest-running and most prolific yacht rock band in the state.  Playing from coast to coast and doing it all LIVE is no small feat but we proudly and passionately play your soft rock tunes without using backing tracks.  Importantly, the band has been rocking the yacht since 2016 and the very first yacht rock band in Orange County.  Thanks for still making us #1 out there.  Come sail away with us!
