San Diego Yacht Rock Festival

Get SMOOTH San Diego, this yacht rock festival is tailor-made for you. In fact the top yacht rock bands in the country will assemble for an October 11th concert so don’t miss the boat. Yachty by Nature, Harbor Party and Monsters of Yacht will hit the stage starting at 5pm for an epic party. Importantly, Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass fame just joined the lineup. We can’t wait to join forces with the singer of the song, Brandy. Lastly, Captain Adam of Yacht Rock Radio will also be on the crew for this legendary lineup.

Make sure and check out our video from the City of Dana Point in August! What a huge audience. Moreover, around 6,000 plus came out to dance, sing, and sail away with us. What a feeling to play that show after playing the US Open of Surfing the night before. In fact, we closed each night with a smooth tribute to Ozzy Osbourne who had just passed away. The song Crazy Train went over huge to these concert goers. Therefore, we played it again in the mountains at Sky Park Santa’s Village in Lake Arrowhead.

America’s Yacht Rock Band

This summer was truly legendary and we have so much fun to report. In fact, we hope you were out there enjoying the sound at the OC Fair Hangar. Another record crowd out there. Hopefully, we’ll have some video from the fair soon. In addition, we sailed to our first show in the state of Oregon and second time to Idaho. This really fun town of Summerlin came out to party on a really hot night in July. Wow, what a fun dance party. In addition, we made new friends and dined on the best corn dogs ever! Idaho continued the fun with a really cool casino event in Pocatello. So proud of the band and thankful to our new audiences everywhere.

With all the traveling we’ve been doing, the San Diego Yacht Rock Festival will cap this indian summer. In fact, there will be a nationwide presence of yacht rock at the festival. Captain Adam is coming from Indiana. Harbor Party was the first yacht rock band in Los Angeles and we know a few of their players, great guys! Additionally, the Monsters of Yacht are great players from Nashville. Lastly, we hear that the composer of the song Brandy, Elliot Lurie will sail in from New York. Apparently, the stars are aligning and a near perfect night of smooth is on the horizon!

Only in Ron Burgundy’s dreams could a lineup like this happen. In fact, EventVibe has done the heavy lifting of organizing such a tribute to the breezy sounds of smooth. One can only imagine if there will be a trident fight in the streets of San Diego the night before to see who gets to sing which song. One thing is for sure… there hasn’t yet been a collection of such yacht rock specialists as this. Importantly, San Diego Yacht Rock Festival will break new ground on bringing such smooth talent to one stage.
