Yacht Rock 2024!
Happy New Year everyone and welcome to Yacht Rock 2024 with Yachty by Nature playing from sea to shining sea. In fact, we just got home from our first cruise on Virgin Voyages in the Caribbean Sea. An incredible 8 day adventure to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Croix and the Bahamas out of Miami. Just us buoys, the band played as a 5 piece aboard the Valiant Lady and rocked the pool deck for New Year’s Eve. Definitely check for the countdown to midnight video! Later in the week, we played in the On The Rocks lounge and got to jam with the incredibly talented other bands on board. Richard Branson made a wise choice securing the services of Yachty by Nature and the fun was off the chart. Ultimately, we thank the whole production staff for making us look and sound so good. Ahoy!!!

Glad you asked because we’re saying goodbye to a wild 2023 and hello to new adventures and an awesome new year. First up, we’ll be rocking a few Orange County dates including the NAMM show on January 27 at 5pm on the ADJ Arena Plaza Stage. As well, you can find us playing world class yacht rock in 2024 at Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa. Great intimate concert venue and brilliant energy there! Importantly, get your tickets for our first local show of 2024. Then, we head back to Stillwater where we began the Orange County yacht rock revolution in 2016. We were the first yacht rock band in Orange County and still smooth sailing in our 8th year of existence.
In fact, yachty plays Stillwater on January 20. As always, we look forward to an epic hometown crowd! Moreover, look for us at Campus Jax in February and then Venice West on 2/9 and the Houston Rodeo for the cookout on February 23. We really look forward to our first concert in Texas! And, of all things, the Houston Rodeo. Yacht Rock 2024 coming to the Heartland of America will be nothing short of SMOOTH!
Yacht Rock 2024 flashback
What’s it worth going forward if we can’t look back at a wild 2023 with America’s yacht rock band, Yachty by Nature. In fact, it all started with the Tiki Bar last year too! Additionally, we traveled to Fort Lauderdale for the Emeril Lagasse bash and then our HUGE show at Pala Casino in February. All kinds of fun private parties, corporates and our epic OC venues of Hangar 24, Sea Legs, Venice West, and a quick trip to the Siren in Morro Bay in May.
Importantly, we returned to Florida for a big corporate show in Orlando and then off to Napa, San Francisco yacht club party and so much more! Summer 2023 saw us back at Sea Legs and a trip to Idaho. In fact, Yachty by Nature played it’s share of awesome concerts in the park from Simi Valley to Laguna Niguel, RSM, and San Clemente and beyond. Additionally, our show at the OC Fair in the Hangar was a packed house blow out and such a pinnacle for the band. We continued to Discovery Bay, Lake Tahoe, Delta Coves again, and another show in Paso Robles.
Fall Flashback
Ultimately, we played some new venues like Mozambique in Laguna Beach, SLO Brew Rock, and Village Sports bar Big Bear. Particularly, our sold out concert at the Coach House and a two nighter for Rava Wines in Paso Robles were super notable. These were absolute home run yacht rock parties. Let’s hope yacht rock 2024 will build on those awesome concerts. In fact, November saw the band conquering new heights.
Yachty by Nature enjoyed a 3 show stint with concerts in Vegas on Thursday, Sacramento on Friday and Indian Wells on Saturday! Importantly, the band rocked the Virgin hotel in Vegas for the Formula One Race from 12am to 4am. The band took a short nap and then headed off to the airport. Next stop, Sacramento for a super fun corporate show for the California Dental Association. Moreover, we had some gas in the tank to rock the party for Indian Wells Country club that Saturday night.
I’m so proud of this band for persevering. On top of everything, we had new talent with Becky Smooth, Jenny Smooth, and Niki Smooth on the vocals for those shows. Lastly, we finished the year by playing a birthday party in Vegas for Corey Taylor of Slipknot. Lots of great musicians in the crowd that night, like Scott Ian from Anthrax too! In the end, we celebrated the holidays and then embarked for our cruise to the Caribbean. Oh what a year it’s been. A legendary wild ride with plenty of highs, lows, challenges, and successes. A heartfelt thanks for your continued support, love, and appreciation.
